One can witness an extension of the genre of 3D films that are often limited to horror, action and blockbuster films. 《放学ICU[1]》（英语：After School）（2005年1月3日—2015年1月9日），香港电视广播有限公司制作的一个儿童节目，此节目接替同类型儿童节目《至NET小人类》，收视约为3－9点。 　　---------------------------------- 　　2005年1月，节目于成立初期以儿童剧《葱葱闯地球》及布偶角色“葱葱”作为招徕，每集上半部均播放该出短剧，插播动画以后的下半部则是由参与短剧的成员与若干艺员沿用剧中布景，一同主持主题环节。2005年10月，当《葱葱闯地球》播放完毕后，所有节目内容回归传统的主题环节，并于后段引入正式的主题曲。 　　2007年12月31日，高清数字电视启播，《放学ICU》亦同时进行内容及形式改革。在布景方面，每天有不同的新主题布景，另一重点是再次推出儿童连续剧《神探阿Tom》，但是次限于一星期一集。星期一的动画播放时间曾经改为下午4：20，于播完后才插播两节自制内容。 　　2010年2月1日，节目再次进行另一次内容改革。在动画编排方面，星期一播放时间改回下午4:35，使星期一至星期五的播放时间再次统一为下午4:35，同日亦更换片头。另外于2011月8月1日起，因为节目内播映之动画《宠物小精灵DP III》改为16:9制作，使节目于模拟频道亦改以4:3黑边模式播放。因此从当天起，本节目均只会播放16:9制作的动画，而不再播放4:3制作的动画。 　　2013年5月13日，本节目进行第三度内容改革，亦更换主题曲，并重新引入无线儿童台之菠萝家族布偶。同年7月15日起，本节目改为高清制作。 　　2014年4月18日，主持无线电视儿童节目长达32年的谭玉瑛退出主持群，被网民喻为“一个集体回忆的消失”。 　　2014年10月2日，由于节目播映中途插播《特别新闻报道》，故《放学ICU》当天只能播出半集，余下半集没有安排补播。2014年10月3日起，为了避免及后因播放《特别新闻报道》等而令节目时间拉长或停播，改为不播映动画（动画改于节目前独立播映）以缩短节目长度至今。 　　2014年12月21日，因应节目再度大革新，当日为本节目最后一次录影，录影于2015年1月9日播放，并由1月12日起被新通识教育节目《Think Big 天地》取代。截至2015年1月，本节目已播映已10年1星期，共播放2614集，仅次于1989年至1999年播映10年3个月的《闪电传真机》，成为TVB史上第二长的儿童节目。 　　2015年1月9日，本节目成为TVB史上最后播放及制作有小主持的儿童节目。

The main character, an attorney by profession, spends endless hours with his terminally ill mother. Death is her only way out and he's the only one that can help.

Carrie (Jackie Kelly) is a socially-troubled young woman trying to mend a strained relationship with her mother. After her grandfather dies in a nursing home, Carrie finds herself attracted to William (Bill Oberst Jr.), an elderly man in a neighboring room. William's doctor offers Carrie a part-time position with the nursing home to keep tabs on the old man. William shares a series of tall tales from his life as a younger man. He claims to be immortal, cursed to never die but to grow old and sick. Before he can finish his final tale, William mysteriously disappears, and Carrie is implicated in his murder.
